WHO WE ARE —
We Specialize in Diminished Value Assessments
-
You may have experienced a loss in market value. Even after quality repairs, an accident history can affect what buyers are willing to pay for it.
-
Diminished value is the loss in a vehicle’s market value after it has been damanged in an accident, even when it has been properly repaired.
Think of two otherwise comparable vehicles: one has never been in an accident, while the otehr has a documented accident and repair history. Even if both vehicles look and perform the same, buyers may be willing to pay less for the vehicle with the accident hisotry. That difference in market value is diminished value.
-
If another driver caused the accident that damaged your vehicle, you may be able to pursue compensation from the at-fault party’s insurance company for the loss in market value your vehicle may experience — even after quality reapirs have been completed.
In certain circumstances, such as a hit-and-run or an uninsured or underinsured driver, coverage under your own insurance policy may also apply. See our FAQ for additional information.

Your vehicle was repaired. Its value may not have been.
VERITY’S MISSION
VERITY’s mission is to provide independent, thorough, and evidence-based diminished value assessments that bring clarity and credibility to every claim.
We believe vehicle owners deserve more than an unexplained number. They deserve to understand how a conclusion was reached and the evidence supporting it.
Through transparent methodology, careful analysis, and verifiable market evidence, Verity provides assessments that are clear, credible, and built to withstand scrutiny.
Because credibility begins with the truth behind the numbers.
VERITY’S VISION
VERITY’S vision is to raise the standard for diminished value assessments by making transparency, sound methodology, and verifiable evidence the expectation — not the exception.
We envision a process where vehicle owners, insureres, and other interested parties can understand not only the conclusion of an assessment, but the reasoning and evidence behind it.
Our goal is simple: to become a trusted standard for credible diminished value analysis.
VERITY’s Core Values
-
Our conclusions are guided by the evidence — not by the outcome someone hopes to receive.
We approach every assessment objectively and allo wthe facts, market data, and cirucmstances of the vehicle to determine our conclusions.
-
Credibility requires more than a calculation.
We carefully examine the factors that may influence a vehicle’s post-loss market value, evaluate relevant market information, and document the reasoning behind our conclusions.
Every assessment should answer not only what we concluded, but why.
-
Every conclusion should be supported.
We rely on relevant, verifiable information and clearly explain how that evidence relates to our analysis. Assumptions are identified, methodology is explained, and supporting information is documented so taht our work can be independently reviewed.
-
We show our work.
Our methodology, evidence, reasoning, and limitations are presented clearly so that someone reading a Verity assessment can understand how the conclusion was reached.
-
We do not manufacture a result.
Our responsibility is to provide a credible assessment — eveven when teh evidence does not support the outcome someone expected. Trust in Verity must always be more important than the value of any individual claim.
